One of our important roles is to provide information and assist Miami County residents to resources concerning the humane treatment of cats and kittens, and to help with the prevention of unwanted litters. This over-population is not a cat problem, but instead a human problem. Failure to spay/neuter cats and provide basic needs often results in unwanted kittens and preventable pain and suffering.

Adoptions Available!

We have a program that uses volunteers to foster cats and kittens that are up for adoption.  This approach gives us the opportunity to properly socialize and ready the cats for adoption.

The Miami County Humane Society will adopt our cats to residents of Miami County and also the greater Dayton area, to indoor homes only.

At this time you can see our kitties listed on the web at:

If you interested in adopting one of our cats or kittens, please complete our adoption application and email to Teresa Lynn.
