The Miami County Humane Society investigates reports of cruelty or neglect of livestock in Miami County. We try to educate people as to the current requirements of the law.

If you suspect the abuse, neglect or inhumane treatment of any livestock animals in Miami County please immediately contact our lead humane agent, Sharon Karns at (937) 216-0070.
Citizens are encouraged to call as soon as a problem in noticed. Waiting can sometimes create a larger problem.
Remember though, the Miami County Animal Shelter is the agency to contact when you suspect abuse or neglect of a cat or a dog. The Animal Shelter can be reached at (937) 332-6919.
